As governed in the “Traité de Versailles”, Presence Protestant Français au Liban (PPFL) is a non- profit French association established in November 1925 as a means to take over the German Protestant Missions in Lebanon.

The treaty clearly stated that the Association’s main duty is to preserve the Protestant aspect of the concerned missions and institutions.

In October 1927, PPFL was granted the existing Protestant school in Lebanon from which its roots branched out to become the present Collège Protestant Français (CPF) in Beirut.

In 2019, and as CPF Beirut strived to become one of the most prestigious and reputable French schools in Lebanon, PPFL acquired Montana International College in the Metn region in 2019, eagerly fulfilling its vision for expansion.  This accomplishment enables PPFL to promote the Protestant educational values not only within the French educational system, but in the Anglophone educational system as well.

The fundamental principle of CPF schools is to bring together students from various horizons, cultures, and religions; to make them work together and succeed collectively and to take part of a unique family that is the CPF.
